Stefanq: I tried that as well but didn't help Valerostudio: I tried using the exterior highest quality settings earlier when you asked me to.like i said the problem was still there.what exactly do you think i need to change in the IR map settings because i tried a lot of different IR map settings and that didn't seem to fix the problem
VERY HIGH QUALITY INTERIOR VRAY SETTINGS SOFTWARE
so we can tell better.Īlso as a rule of tumb i try to avoid at all "default presets" that's a good rule with any software at any time. in particular color mapping/samplers/irradiancemap/lightcache. WHICH settings did you change? and HOW did you change them? saying "i changed settings no matter what" doesn't actually give us any information needed to help out. Plus if you need REAL help, instead of simply complain about quality you should share your settings for us to see. I'm not using the last version of vray for sketchup, so i can't tell what's the default for you, but i'm pretty much sure that in on older versions the default settings weren't that good in the gamma correction slot. Scorpius7 wrote:Panixia: i'm using the default high quality exterior settings.haven't changed anything in the color mapping settings in that earlier picture.but tried changing them and again same problem.like i said it seems like it's always there no matter what i do or change It improved it a bit but the problem still there and still look crappy no matter what settings i change Tried again with different many different settings and did lots of renders but the problem is always there no matter what i ied changing the Hsph Subdivs and Interpolations sample. Here's some pictures of what i'm getting. It's starting to frustrate me since i'm working on a very basic scene yet can't fix this simple problem.
VERY HIGH QUALITY INTERIOR VRAY SETTINGS HOW TO
Can someone please tell me what's going on and how to fix this. It was still noticeable just not as obvious and i don't like any of the renders i'm getting. Tried brute force too.it worked little better but there's more noise and it didn't completely fix the problem. I'm using irradiance map and light cache. I'm not even sure what exactly this problem is called.blotchy/splotchy surfaces?.I'm making a very simple scene with just some boxes in the shadow and the shading doesn't seem to be smooth and something is off. I've tried saving to TIF but same problem.
I keep getting what seems like low compression problems with JPEG. Tried a lot of different settings and suggestions but still nothing. I've already tried to find an answer to this problem on the net but couldn't find anything that would actually fix it. Still learning the basics and running into some problem with the vray renders.
Hi everyone, i'm new to sketchup and vray.
